Since 1985, I've been a huge Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt fan. I ate it almost everyday for lunch when I was pregnant with Jillian and now she loves it as much as me. The unfortunate thing about Golden Spoon was the distance of their locations. I've always had to get on a freeway to get my yummy fat-free treat.But not anymore...Golden Spoon has arrived in San Juan Capistrano. The only better news would be Target arriving...but that's another story. It's located three doors down from Ballpark Pizza on Ortega Highway. It's the perfect location for dessert after a delicious dinner at Bad to the Bone (my favorite local BBQ joint). I'd like to encourage ALL residents of San Juan to visit our dear Golden Spoon and show support. Of course, I drove by tonight to check on when the grand opening was scheduled and much to my surprise it was open and so, of course, I went in and bought my first "Cake Batter" yogurt. It's a piece of heaven on earth.

congrats on the new arrival! i remember when it opened here in SC - we were so excited!!! And yes, if Target would just open nearby my life would be complete here in south OC.

Tracy! I have no idea how I came across your blog, but its great to see you have one! I soooo miss Golden Spoon. People out here in Utah dont eat frozen yogurt, however I hope its making a come back :) So good to catch up on your blog!

Shut up Trace! It must have just opened up because I met Bryan at "Bad to the Bone" (so good by the way) last month and it was not there! Congratulations on one being so close. It will change your life forever. They put that one in where the toppings was in Rancho Niguel and we are there every night in the summer! P.S. Look for your Clipper Coupon Magazine in the mail. It may have arrived yesterday or today. There is a coupon for 2 FREE Golden Spoon yogurts at any location!!!
