Yesterday I celebrated my birthday with Leland, Dallas and Glenda and Lee. I mentioned that I didn't really like cake for my birthday. Call me crazy but I have a strong dislike for frosting, thus not liking cake. I love pumpkin pie and I love cheesecake and told both Leland and Glenda. Well...Leland decided to surprise me and brought home a pumpkin cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory and Glenda brought me a pumpkin pie and a chocolate cream pie. So after a huge dinner at Marbella, I ate a piece of all three desserts. I couldn't have been more full and felt like exploding after all the pie. I'm grateful that my family loves me, but I don't need anymore pumpkin this season.

I think I love pie because crust is so much better than cake. Next year I'm asking for berry pie.....and cheesecake.

I like pie better than cake too. First and foremost is the crust, followed by the filling!
