Every morning we had a delicious breakfast. Here we are enjoying our morning feast. I fell in love with the Las Ventanas yogurt (plain yogurt, honey and pumpkin seeds) with fresh fruit while Leland enjoyed his hot cakes and banana french toast. To each his own...
Don't these pancakes look delicious? Who couldn't enjoy hotcakes with fresh papaya, macademia nuts and vanilla syrup? And just so you know, that Diet Coke is mine.
My chair by the pool. We were pampered with complimentary Ipods, popsicles, cold towels, Sudoku games and fresh lemonades all day, along with an ice bucket filled with water bottles and Evian sprays. It was the life... And ask Leland about the crossword puzzles. We became quite proficient as the week progressed.
One night we had chocolate bread pudding with chocolate sauce at The Trailer Park Restaurant. Yummo!!
Here are a few shots from the balcony off our room.
Of course we went to church at the San Jose Ward. Even though I didn't understand one word, the Spirit was the same as Capo II Ward.
This small pool was near our room but we never used it because I needed pool service...Diet Coke baby!! But it was a beautiful setting for a picture before dinner.

The architecture at Las Ventanas is incredible. At first I thought it was a little stark because I expected tropical, but as the days went on I began to think it was a beautiful place. Here are a few shots from around the resort.

I never get pics of Leland. So I put two in here. I think he is so cute. I wish I was a better photographer.

This tree was lit up at night and was made completely of metal. Should have taken a pic after the sun went down. That's our room behind me.
Look at that beautiful ocean if you can get past the handsome man.
Needless to say there were MANY cactus in the landscaping. Fortunately no serious injuries occurred with Mr and Mrs. Murphy.
Time to go to dinner.
Our final dinner, at Trailer Park (our second time).
I ordered the Caeser Salad and Norma made it at our table. One small anchovy and an egg yolk and it's a wonder I wasn't sick that night. The salad was delicious. Later Norma came to our table and created a tasty Bananas Flambe dessert with ice cream.

Lobster anyone?
Don't worry, I finished everything on my plate.
Serenaded with a little Carlos Santana music.
We had to head home the next day. But we spent the afternoon at the Spa for his and her facials before boarding our plane back to California. It was a great trip and I'm thankful to a husband who loves the sun as much as me.
