Elder Bruce and Elder Vincent "walking" down the calle in Resistencia. No wonder his shoes aren't black anymore.

Trevor with a member of the Branch. This sister joined the church five years ago and teaches English to members of the church. (Notice her acrylic nails and pedicure.) Trevor loves this woman. And look at those shoes of his!!!
Now some excerpts from Trevor's letter this week:
So first off, to answer your questions...transfers are today. We found out last night what's going to happen...Elder Vincent got called as Zone Leader in the opposite side of the mission in Formosa! He is way stoked cuz he started his mission there and my new companion's name is Elder Melander. He's a stud, he's not here yet but he has worked in the office for the past 6 months and he's friends with Elder Vincent so it should be really fun. As for our apartment, well our room is about the size of your pantry (that's no exaggeration); it just has a higher ceiling...as for the shower, well first of all, my bare feet haven't touched the ground yet in Argentina hahaha...there's fungus just crawling everywhere they tell me. Hermana Shakespear instructed us on our first day to not walk around with bare feet. But the shower isn't too bad...it's pretty cool, our bathroom is so small, you can be taking a shower, taking a dump and brushing your teeth in the sink all at the same time!! hahaha...Gotta love Argentina.
So as I said before we don't have bikes. The Area President outlawed them about two years ago, so we are stuck walking. Our area is pretty small compared to the States, obviously, but it's big in a walking perspective...it's about 3 km long and we are about 1 km from the chapel (which is in the ZL's area) and there are a bunch of hills here...Misiones is the only province in the mission that has hills, and the dirt is red. Ill send you more pics. And since the area is so small, we don't live too far from members...we have about 500 members within 6 km but only about 60 of them go to church haha...so we are working hard on that haha, but I'm loving it here. The walking doesn't bother me. We don't ride bikes because we can talk to more people by walking, so that's what we do, talk to people on the street...it's so much fun.
Yesterday we contacted a guy who was riding a bike. Elder Vincent couldn't keep up but I was just running right there next to him hahahaha...it was really funny. I mainly did it because it was a dare, but we got a contact anyhow.
I love you family, and I'm loving the work. Don't worry, I'm not getting trunky. On Easter I got a little trunky, but I made myself at home and hid some of Elder Vincent's candy hahaha...it was funny.
