Memorable Monday

Last weekend, when I was in Las Vegas visiting Jillian and Drew, Jillian mentioned that she would like to learn to ride a horse when they visit the Coons' house at Fish Lake in Utah. Well...I found this picture today and have proof that Jillian has ridden a horse, albeit one walking in circle. Maybe you need a few more lessons Jillian. (Sorry the picture is so fuzzy. It's old film.) By the way, I didn't always dress my girls in big yellow t-shirts. It was the class shirt and mandatory for all fieldtrips.



This is Jillian at around 2 1/2 years old. We visited a "farm" at Irvine Park with her preschool. Riding this pony was one of the many activities, which also included petting animals, holding baby chicks and milking a cow. She probably doesn't remember this fieldtrip, but Jillian had a great time at the farm.
