Memorable Monday

This week's Memorable Monday is a tribute to my cute husband. I've known him for 32 years and we've both done our share of changing over those years. He was so cute as a teenager and is so handsome as a manly man. Below are two photos from the past. The first from his mission and the second from his basketball years. Enjoy!!

This is Leland as a greenie missionary. He was serving in his first area of Ponce, Puerto Rico in the Pink Palace. (The pink font is in honor of the Pink Palace.) Maybe you can see the pink walls. Looking at this photo helps me imagine what conditions Trevor may be living in. If Leland could survive, than I know Trevor can too. (Sorry for the wacko picture cropping. I'm a slow learner and too lazy to redo.)

When Leland and I were first married he played basketball at Orange Coast College and then at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. This picture is from a game at OCC and unfortunately I don't remember which game it was. But be assured that I attended all the games. Take a look at his shorts. Can you believe that was the style? And notice his hand position. It looks exactly like the way Dallas moves his hands. He is truly a clone of his Dad.

I like the high top shoes personally... I can't believe how much Dallas is dad. Trevor may have looked like him when he was little, but Dal is a spitting image!
