A New York Moment

After leaving the MTC, Leland, Dallas and I headed off to the Big Apple, or NYC, for a getaway weekend. It was very cold and very fun. We tried to show Dallas just how fun being an only child can be. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Times Square on a Saturday Night.

Hugging my honey.

We love using the subway. Besides, when it's cold outside, the subway is very warm.

Here we are at the Jets vs. Redskins game. It was very cold and the people sitting next to us kept teasing us because we were bundled under the blanket. They didn't think it was cold at all. By the way, I never noticed how much our eye color is the same.

For the National Anthem, they had soldiers bring out this giant flag. It was an amazing site to see them wave it during the song. A very patriotic moment.

We had so much fun in NYC. We ate non-stop (Mesa Grille, Carnegie Deli, Brooklyn Diner, Joe's Pizza, and more), saw two great plays that I recommend to everyone (The Drowsey Chaperone and Mary Poppins) and walked and walked and walked. I heart New York!!

Tracy!!! I found your blog thru "blog-stalking". I just recently started one too! Check it out. I can't believe you have two children married, and one in the MTC. You are my (not so distant) future. I hope you had fun in NY. It's our favorite place to visit...we try to go at least once a year. Love you and Miss you!
